The
Understudies
by Jeff Bedillion
Several years into the open-ended run of a smash hit play at the prestigious Salvador Theatre on Broadway, the excitement has yielded to apathy, the word "art" replaced with "job", and the true drama now resides backstage. Evadne and Ami, the understudies for the leading character Martha, find themselves in eternal intermission, their dreams and aspirations wilting in the shadow of the lead actress Donna's success. Described as a "flirtation" with Jean Genet's THE MAIDS, THE UNDERSTUDIES observes the souls of two starving artistes as they steep with a brew of jealousy, conspiracy, and desperation.

Biblical Bitches in The Adventures of Everywoman
by Jeff Bedillion
Upon
the ruins of this civilization, a new Garden is recycled from the rubble
and among the ashes is born a new race of mankind with hopes of eternal
life. If given a second chance for infinite inhabitancy of the Garden, would
we make the same mistakes? Follow Woh-man in her adventures as she searches
for true freedom and an understanding of the nature of her kind.
Produced by the LMNO Theatre Company (creators of Forbidden Fruit) under the direction of Jeff Bedillion and musical direction of Travis Bloom, The Adventures of Everywoman is the first one-act installment of the musical series Biblical Bitches by Jeff Bedillion and composer Ethan Hein. The show is a burlesque fairy tale, quilted with gospel-funk showstoppers, farcical comic scenes, and explosive dance sequences choreographed by Tomas Bell. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind, seventy-five minute extravaganza of off-off Broadway magic!
