Margaret M. Spirito is happy to be returning to the stage after a hiatus of 2 and a half yrs, when she took some time off to concentrate on her music, posing as her altar ego “Mele”. During that time she had the pleasure of opening for comedians TK Kirkland and Talent and R&B singer Mickey Howard, as well being the opening act for 98.7 KISS FM’s comedy hour every Tuesday night in NYC. Her original song “YOU’VE MADE ME (SO HAPPY)” and her cover of the Moody Blues’s NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN were featured on German airwaves. Margaret was also seen as one of the 15 semi-finalists on the NBC reality talent competition FAME and on CBS, having a featured role opposite Richard Dreyfuss on an episode of THE EDUCATION OF MAX BICKFORD. She’s a proud graduate of Wagner College where she studied theater. Favorite roles include Acid Queen (TOMMY), Eva Peron (EVITA), Bettina Barnes (PSYCHO BEACH PARTY), and Donna/Oolie (CITY OF ANGELS).
